Righto, so I took a punt on this dress for a charity ball, and I'm stoked I did. The material is a thick satin, which helps the skirt hold its shape really well. I was worried the lace might look a bit tacky, but it’s actually gorgeous and stitched on beautifully. I’m usually between sizes, so I went up a size and got it taken in, which I reckon is the way to go if you're not sure. It’s a classic style that I reckon I can wear again to other events down the track. The pockets (yeah, it has pockets!) were the absolute best surprise. I chucked my lippy and mobile in there all night. Cracking purchase.

Worth mentioning that the skirt is quite long; I’m 168cm and wore 8cm heels, and it still touched the floor, so shorter girls might need to get it taken up.

Once the creases were out, it looked absolutely flawless. My hubby couldn't take his eyes off me!

I will say, the sizing runs a tad small around the ribcage compared to the size guide, so maybe double-check your measurements. But once you've got it on, it gives a really great hourglass shape.
