I honestly didn't expect much buying a wedding dress online, but wow. The lace details on the sleeves are actually stunning in real life. It fits a bit snug around the hips, but that’s kind of the point of a mermaid cut, right? The illusion neckline isn't scratchy at all, which was my biggest worry. It needs a bit of a steam straight out of the bag, but for the price, I'm absolutely stoked. Can’t wait to wear this for my backyard wedding next month.

I was on the hunt for a dress with a vintage but modern vibe, and this illusion neckline style absolutely nailed it. It's got that classic lace look but the cut is gorgeous and sexy. I wore it to my rehearsal dinner because I was a bit too extra for a basic white cocktail dress, and everyone was complimenting me. The size guide is actually spot on. I normally wear a size 8 and the 8 here was a perfect fit, although the arms were a tad tight. I just love the court train; it's long enough to give that bridal feel but short enough that I could dance all night without needing to sort out a bustle straight away. It’s a really romantic style.

This dress is pretty decent. It’s not bespoke couture quality, obviously, but for a budget wedding dress, it definitely does the trick. The illusion neckline blends better with my skin tone than I reckoned it would. I’m planning to add a sparkly belt just to give it a bit more wow factor for the reception. Delivery took a fair bit longer than I hoped, so definitely order well in advance, but the dress itself is an absolute keeper.
