I got an award at a formal dinner and wore this up on stage. I was a bit worried about tripping on the stairs, but the mermaid flare starts high enough up the leg that you can move around easily. I felt super elegant accepting my plaque. The dress has a nice weight to it, so it drapes beautifully over your figure.

Took this on a cruise for formal night. I was worried the sequins would get ruined in my suitcase, but I rolled it up carefully and it unpacked looking perfectly fine. No creases, which is a huge plus when you don't have a steamer. The V-neck is cut a bit low so I had to find the right bra to wear with it, but once that was sorted it looked gorgeous.

I wore this to my cousin's evening wedding last weekend and honestly it was heaps more comfortable than I expected. Usually sequins scratch my arms up but the lining on this one did a brilliant job protecting my skin. I was able to sit through the whole dinner and even have a bit of a boogie without feeling restricted. The v-neck is flattering without being too full-on. Definitely a top choice if you need something formal but still want to be able to breathe.

The colour is really what won me over. It looks a bit different depending on the lighting, which is pretty cool. In normal daylight, it looks like a deep, rich shade, and at night with indoor lighting, it sparkles heaps more. The sweep train is elegant, but dragging it around outside for photos did get the very bottom hem a bit dirty. Nothing a dry cleaner can't fix up, though.

Wore this for the evening gown section of a local pageant. Under the stage lights, the sparkle is just unreal. It moves really well when you walk, which is super important for that kind of event. The train follows you nicely without getting tangled around your feet. I did have it taken up about an inch because I'm on the shorter side even with heels, but the tailor had no worries working with the material.
