Was a bit worried about buying a satin mermaid dress online because I'm pear-shaped and usually struggle with hip measurements. Took a gamble since the price was heaps better than hiring. It fit surprisingly well! I just had to get the hem taken up a bit because I'm 5'2. Looked incredibly elegant in our church photos and the fabric has a nice weight to it.

Absolutely gorgeous drape on this satin. Hugged my curves perfectly and felt so soft against my skin all day.

Honestly, the dress is gorgeous and gives a cracking hourglass figure. I'm giving it 4 stars because the train is pretty heavy when walking up stairs and a bit hard to manage by yourself. Also, in the really bright midday sun, you could see the outline of my legs a tiny bit, but no biggie.

Heaps better than I expected. The sleeves are super flattering on my arms and the neckline isn't too low.
