Honestly, this dress totally exceeded my expectations! The mermaid shape hugs the curves beautifully without being too restrictive. I ordered the emerald green and the colour is so rich and vibrant in real life, heaps better than the photos. I'm a bit on the shorter side, so I did have to get it taken up because it really is floor-length, but my dressmaker had absolutely no worries working with the fabric. The bodice has great structure, so I didn't even need a bra. If you're umming and ahhing about getting this, just go for it. It looks like a high-end custom piece!

Here's a fair dinkum review: The fabric has a mid-weight satin feel and isn't see-through in the slightest. The neckline's got a rubber grip lining so it won't slip down, which is a massive plus. It does need a good steam straight out of the packet, but once ironed, it drapes perfectly. A cracking choice for any formal occasion.
