It's really the fabric that makes all the difference. The gorgeous ivory colour looks even better in real life. The lace overlay has a lovely texture, not scratchy at all like some cheap materials. I was pretty fussy: I wanted a soft, luxurious fabric, and this one is absolutely spot on. It drapes beautifully on the mermaid skirt. I'm absolutely stoked with how it feels overall.
