I was a bit sceptical about the court train description, reckoning it'd be a bit much, but it's actually really manageable. It trails just enough to look elegant without being a hassle to walk in. The only downside is that the satin shows water marks pretty easily, so be careful with your drinks!

If you've got curves, this mermaid cut is super flattering. It really hugs you in all the right places. I wasn't a massive fan of the built-in bra cups, they felt a bit stiff, so I got my dressmaker to replace them. Other than that, a solid 4 stars.

I ordered this dress for my son's wedding next month. The colour is exactly as shown in the pics, which is a huge relief. The fit around the hips is a bit tighter than I reckoned, so I'll be wearing some heavy-duty shapewear underneath, but the silhouette is gorgeous. I love that the train isn't too long so I won't trip over.
