Bought this for my daughter's wedding and the dark colour is stunning in person. It's a tiny bit long so I wore higher heels, and the zip needs a gentle pull around the waist seam. Overall extremely comfortable even after sitting through the dinner and speeches.

I was worried the velvet would be too heavy for an indoor reception but it actually breathes surprisingly well. The one-shoulder cut is super flattering and the ruching hides my tum perfectly. Had to steam it carefully because it arrived with some creases from the packaging, but totally worth it.

I was honestly a bit iffy about buying a velvet dress online 'cause you never know if the material will look cheap or shiny, but this one absolutely surprised me.
