My daughter used this for her school formal because her dress was strapless and she wanted something for the drive. It's a very basic, lightweight piece that does the trick. It's not the highest quality silk or anything, but for a one-night event, it looked really lovely and she was happy with it.

I threw this on over a floral sundress for a fancy afternoon tea in my mate's backyard. It's incredibly light and breathable, which was brilliant for the warm weather. It does tend to slip off if you're moving your arms about a fair bit, so I might use a nice brooch next time. Otherwise, it's a gorgeous little accessory.
