I didn't order a standard size but sent in custom measurements, so I can't speak for the fit of the off-the-rack sizes. I knew I couldn't return it because of that if I wasn't keen on the style. I didn't like the sheer sleeves at all, so I took them off. I'm no seamstress, but it was super easy, and the dress was so well made that it didn't ruin it at all. I also had to take it in a bit more because I have an odd frame and the shoulders were too big for me. The dress was really well made, the fabric didn't look or feel cheap, and I got heaps of compliments. Again, I don't blame the designer or the dressmaker for the fit. I knew going in that I'd be a tough fit. It was my first time buying a dress online, and not being able to try it on was a massive leap of faith, but I was pretty stoked with it.

The colour is exactly like the picture, which was a huge relief. I wore this to a charity dinner, and it felt spot on and classy. The zip was a bit sticky at the waist, so just go easy on it. Once it was on, though, I felt super confident all night.

I wore this to a military ball and got heaps of compliments. The lace detailing is stunning up close, and it isn't scratchy like a lot of other dresses I've tried. I reckon you should go up a size if you have wider hips, but otherwise, it’s a cracking choice for a fancy evening do.

This dress was the absolute highlight of my school formal! The off-the-shoulder look is so in right now, and the sweep train made me feel like royalty walking down the stairs. The material feels thicker than I expected, which is fantastic because it doesn't look cheap at all.

I’m obsessed with how this dress photographs. I wore it for a styled shoot in the CBD, and the urban backdrop paired with the elegant lace was a cracking contrast. It’s a very fitted style, so definitely pop on some shapewear if you're after a smooth finish. An absolutely stunning piece.
