Postage took a bit longer than I reckoned, but it rocked up just in time for alterations. If you want that dramatic entrance look, this absolutely does the trick, just be ready for the weight of it.

The satin feels pretty heavy and nice, not cheap and nasty like some of the gear you find online. I absolutely love the straight neckline; it makes my collarbones look fab without showing off too much skin. The sequins add a gorgeous sparkle when the light catches them on the d-floor. I did have to get the hem taken up a fair bit because it was way too long for me even with heels, but otherwise, the corset back made the fit really adjustable and snug.

Definitely give it a quick steam before you wear it, as it comes out of the bag pretty creased.

I needed something for a formal charity gala last month and decided to give this gown a go. It's actually not too shabby.

I’m usually between sizes, so the lace-up back was a real lifesaver for getting the fit spot on around my waist. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that the underarm was cut a bit high for me and rubbed a little by the end of the night.
