The satin has a surprisingly good weight to it and feels gorgeous, definitely not cheap-looking. The ruffles hide my arms perfectly, which was my biggest worry.

So I grabbed this for my mum for a gala. She looked absolutely stunning. The fabric has a nice sheen to it without looking like fancy dress. Top buy.

I wore this to a formal dinner last week and got heaps of compliments on the colour! It fits pretty true to size, maybe a bit snug in the waist, but the mermaid cut is really flattering once you get it zipped up. Delivery took a bit longer than I'd hoped, so definitely order well in advance. Overall, pretty happy with it for the price.
