The V-neck is super flattering without showing too much, and the long sleeves kept me warm enough that I didn't even need a jacket. It looks heaps more expensive than it really is. I'm seriously thinking about getting it in another colour!

Also, the ruffle detail didn't sit as flat as it does in the pics; I had to steam it for ages to get it looking right. It’s a decent dress if you have time to get it altered, but don't expect it to be perfect straight out of the parcel.

I wanted something a bit different for a date night at this flash restaurant in the CBD, so I gave this a crack. The acetate satin material is shiny, maybe a bit shinier than I was after, but it looks elegant enough in dim lighting. My biggest issue was the zip. It felt really flimsy, and I was terrified it was going to bust open the whole time I was getting ready. The A-line shape is super forgiving if you’ve had a big feed, which is a massive plus. It’s a decent dress for the price point, I reckon. It did the job for one night, but I don't know if I’d reach for it again unless I get the zip replaced. It’s just average quality.
