This dress is honestly an absolute gem. The structure of the bodice is fantastic; it holds you in without feeling like a corset. The flow of the skirt is just gorgeous—it moves really well when you walk. One thing to note is that the fabric doesn't have much stretch, so make sure you check the size guide religiously. I was right between sizes and went a size up, which was a good call. It needed a quick steam straight out of the bag, but once the creases were out, it looked flawless. I’m absolutely stoked with how it turned out.

So, I needed something last minute for a military ball and took a punt on this dress. Let me tell you, it paid off big time. The A-line cut is so forgiving, especially after a huge dinner! I love that it has pockets—yes, pockets! I didn't even realise that when I ordered it. I could keep my lippy and phone on me without lugging a clutch everywhere. The material is thick enough that you don't need Spanx, which is a massive win in my book. The only reason I'm not giving it full marks is that the zip was a bit sticky at first, but after running some wax over it, it was sweet. Overall, a cracking dress for the price.

I wore this to my cousin's black-tie engagement party and felt absolutely stunning. The one-shoulder look is really in right now, and this dress absolutely nails it. It shows just the right amount of skin while still being modest enough for family get-togethers. The satin feels super soft against the skin and isn't itchy at all. I was a bit worried about the bust area since I'm smaller up top, but it fit surprisingly well without needing any major alterations. It does crease a little if you've been sitting for ages, but a quick steam before you head out fixes it right up. I'm thinking about grabbing it in another colour for an upcoming Christmas party.

Buying dresses online is always a bit of a gamble, but this one was a really nice surprise. I got it for a formal work dinner where I needed to look smart but still dressed up. The fabric has a nice sheen to it that looks expensive under the lights. The sweep train adds a bit of drama, but it's manageable enough that I wasn't tripping over it all night. I did find the sizing runs a tad large, so I probably could have sized down, but it wasn't noticeable enough to send back. The flower detail is securely attached, so no worries about it falling off. It’s a classic style that I reckon will stay in fashion for a while.
