It fitted pretty snug around the waist, so I didn't need much altering there, though the length was a bit much for me even wearing heels.

I loved the V-neck cut; it felt elegant without being too over the top for a daytime function. The cut-out at the back added a gorgeous modern touch that my friends were absolutely raving about.

The fit is incredibly flattering and hugs your curves in all the right spots. I was a bit worried the cut-out would look tacky, but it’s actually done really tastefully. The only thing is the zip felt a bit stiff at first, so just go easy on it. Once I had it on, I felt gorgeous watching the sunset. It’s a spot-on choice if you want something stylish on a budget.

I grabbed this dress for the reception because I was after something a bit lighter to slip into after the ceremony. It was absolutely spot on! The sleeveless cut meant I could move my arms around easily, which was a lifesaver for hugging the guests and tossing the bouquet. The lace isn't scratchy at all, which is a massive plus since my skin is pretty sensitive.

It does crease a fair bit if you're sitting in the car for too long, so make sure to pack a travel steamer if you're travelling with it.
