I wasn't too sure what to expect ordering a dress online for my bestie’s wedding, especially since we were pushing it for time. But when it arrived, I was actually pretty stoked. The satin feels nice and heavy, not flimsy like some cheap dress-up gear I've bought before. The bow on the back is a gorgeous detail that really makes it pop in the photos.

Righto, so here's the goss on this dress. I got it for my sister’s bridal party. The silhouette is really flattering on different body types; my cousin is curvy and I’m more straight up and down, but the A-line cut worked for both of us. The fabric is soft, and it isn't itchy, which is a massive win for a long day. Just a heads up though, be prepared to steam it for a while! It came out of the bag pretty creased, which you'd expect, but the satin layers took a bit of patience to smooth out. Once it was pressed, though, it looked absolutely stunning. We took photos on a staircase and the train looked dramatic in the best way possible. It’s a gorgeous dress, just give yourself heaps of prep time before the event.

I was heaps nervous about the colour matching the theme for my mate's winter wedding, but the shade was spot on. The mix of satin and tulle adds a really nice texture that looks fab under the reception lights. I was so stoked that it has pockets! Yeah, they aren't massive, but they fit my lippy and a tissue, which is all I needed. The only reason I’m not calling it absolutely perfect is that the inner lining was a bit clingy with static, so make sure you've got some anti-static spray handy. Other than that little hassle, it held up brilliantly through hours of dancing and getting about. It’s definitely a dress I might actually take up and wear again for drinks.

I bought this for a black-tie event I was going to, not actually a wedding, because I absolutely loved the strapless look. The colour is exactly like the swatch showed online, which was a huge relief. The tulle overlay gives it this really romantic vibe that I love. It’s comfy enough to dance in, though the zip was a bit sticky at first—I had to run some wax over it to get it moving smoothly. The length was spot on for me with three-inch heels (I’m 167 cm). It feels structured enough that I wasn't worried about hitching it up all night, which is my usual nightmare with strapless dresses. If you’re after something that looks expensive but doesn't cost a bomb, this is definitely worth a crack.

Absolutely gorgeous! The sweep train adds just the right touch of drama when I'm walking.
