I will say the sizing runs just a tad small around the ribcage. I had to take it to my local tailor to let it out a fraction so I could breathe comfortably while sitting down for tea. Once that was sorted, it fit like an absolute dream. The A-line shape is super flattering and forgiving, especially after a big meal. Plus, having pockets in a formal dress is a total game changer. For the price, it's a really solid choice, just make sure you double-check your measurements before ordering so you get the right fit.

The satin material feels surprisingly soft and not cheap at all. We were outside for most of the arvo and I didn't feel overly hot or restricted. The absolute best part though? The pockets! I was able to keep my phone and some lip gloss on me the whole time without needing to carry a clutch around. The strapless top stayed up well too, which is always a worry for me. It did need a quick steam when it arrived because of creases from shipping, but that was an easy fix. Overall, it looked amazing in the photos and I might actually wear it again to a fancy dinner or something.
