Our mutual advice: If you're tossing up between two sizes, especially with an embroidered or lace top, GO A SIZE UP. It's heaps more comfortable than trying to squeeze into a smaller one. Taking in the waist is a piece of cake, but you can't fix a tight bust. Overall wearability: Chiffon wins—you can dance all night!

I wore this Wisteria dress as the mother of the bride. I've got to say, the off-the-shoulder design is absolutely elegant; it gives great arm coverage without feeling hot and stuffy like a high neckline. The chiffon skirt is really light and makes for beautiful, flowy photos. My only minor gripe is that because the skirt fabric is a bit thin, the lining is super important, so definitely wear seamless undies, as it can be a bit revealing at times.
