Slipping this on for the first time was such a gorgeous surprise. I normally dread trying on formal wear as it always highlights my insecurities, but the cut on this is just magic. The way the fabric gathers and falls completely skims right over my tummy, and the halter neck really shows off my shoulders. I actually felt pretty glam looking in the mirror. It's lightweight enough that you don't feel bogged down by heavy fabric, yet substantial enough to sit right. Can't wait to get my hair and makeup done and wear it out for real. Absolute ripper of a buy.

The dress itself is absolutely stunning and the stretch satin feels beautiful against the skin. I did find the bodice a bit snug around the ribs, though. I normally wear my usual size, but I reckon I should have gone up a size for a bit more breathing room. Still, it looks amazing on and the slit gives it a cheeky edge. I'll just have to watch how much I eat at the reception!

The style is exactly as pictured and the length is spot on for taller girls like me. The only slight bummer is that the shade was a bit darker in the flesh than it looked on my screen. It still matches the overall colour scheme we're going for, so no worries there. Overall a top buy, just keep in mind the lighting in the photos might make it look a touch brighter.
